Some answers you may need
I don’t see a role that fits, can I send my resume anyway?
Our recruitment needs are always changing. Send us your resume and we will be in touch if we have something appropriate for you. Email recruiting@effectiveschoolsolutions.com
What qualifications and experience do you look for in candidates?
Our minimum qualifications and experience required are based on each position, which can be found in the corresponding job description. For most clinical roles, a minimum of 2 years’ experience working specifically with children and adolescents is required. Clinical licensure requirements vary by role.
What is the application & hiring process like?
Our recruiting team reviews all applications received for open roles. If your experience aligns with the experience needed for a particular role, you will be contacted for an initial phone interview with a Regional Recruitment Manager (RRM) which lasts approximately 30 minutes. If the position and your experience align, you will be invited for a virtual interview with the Regional Clinical team, which lasts approximately 1 hour. Depending on the individual district for each opening, a final interview may be required with the District Partner’s administration – this may be conducted virtually or on-site at the school. We begin checking references during the interview process to avoid any delays should we get to the stage of an offer.
How does the organization prioritize employee well-being and mental health?
ESS encourages staff to practice self-care. Clinical staff are encouraged to end their workday and not take work home with them. The company also provides an employer-sponsored subscription to Calm Premium for full-time employees to have instant access to guided meditations and resources promoting self-care.
What training and development opportunities are provided to employees?
Our clinicians go through extensive training when they first join ESS. They then receive ongoing training and support through supervision and monthly peer supervision groups. All staff also have access to complete required CEUs for licensure through our online training database, Relias, most of which are complimentary.
