Shawn Meddock comes to ESS with many years of experience working with K-12 district leaders to address student needs in reading and math and the personal challenges that often lie beneath them. He also has created large partnerships with school districts in FL, GA, and Ohio to elevate teacher professional learning and principal leadership skills.

Shawn began his career in K-12 Education as a high school English teacher, where he witnessed first-hand the impact that student mental health can have on academic achievement and personal wellness and safety of young people. In his role as Director of District Partnerships, he is committed both professionally and personally to serving as a mature consultative liaison between his school district clients and the experts at Effective School Solutions to address the mental health needs of their students.
